About
dtea-alumni.org was started in 2004 after
N. Madhavan suggested my name to
Srikant Chakravarthy ,
R. Ramachandran and
T. V. Raghuraman of DTEA Alumni Trust. They provided me an EXCEL spread sheet with details of around 2400 ex DTEA students. We put this list online and made it into a directory, where ex students could add and update their information.
During the last few years I was keen to introduce social networking in the site. My goal was to put in place features so that ex DTEA students could keep in touch and update each other about what is happening in their lives. We could also discuss our achievements, successes, failures and problems.
We hope the new format of website helps us to do it.
